Areas of concentration, such as seniors and mental health, and children and families, are usually offered in master’s degree programs in social work. The University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and Columbia University are two top schools that offer master’s degrees in social work. The social work programs at both schools are nationally ranked and offer practice concentration areas and methods.
