Schools usually offer a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History degree, whose core coursework may have geographical region-wise organization, such as relating to Latin America, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa, the U.S., or Canada. Gorbachev, Khrushchev, Stalin, Lenin, and the Romanov tsars, among other major Russian leaders, are also discussed. Also included in the discussions are international relations, economics, communism, and socialism.
