Those who have jobs in food marketing need to be knowledgeable about sales, logistics planning, management, and product development. Bachelor’s programs in Food Marketing can expand the education and knowledge of students with baking and/or culinary experience.

B.S. Programs in Food Marketing

Students enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Food Marketing are imparted hands-on education through numerous real-world experiences including study abroad, industry events and study tours. Coursework is devised to teach about the business aspect of food marketing with education on business intelligence, accounting and finance. Graduates of the Bachelor of Science Degree program may seek continued education by earning a master’s degree in Food Marketing aimed at pursuing positions in senior management. In addition to future issues, sales forecasting and competitive analysis are also covered in master’s degree programs. Apart from coursework, students also engage in independent study and participate in a capstone project in Food Marketing. Incoming students to a master’s degree program may be required to meet some requirements before they are admitted to the program; these include holding a bachelor’s degree, having work experience in the food industry, getting letters of recommendation and submitting a resume.
