Degree Overview: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Global Business Management

Students will be provided with business classes in marketing, accounting, economics, human resource management, and business law, if they take a Global Business Management program. Those who take this program will finish specialized training in import/export trade, global trade, international cultures, and international business law.

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree Programs in Global Business Management

Students enrolled in Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree programs in Global Business Management are given exposure to business subject areas, and imparted the skills they would need for effective communication in a diverse global marketplace. They gain a good grasp of social awareness, negotiation, cross-cultural communication and international business environments. Aspiring global managers would benefit from a firm understanding of political, economic and cultural differences found in countries abroad. While few schools offer a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Global Management, many offer Bachelor of Science (B.S.) programs in International Business, Global Business and International Business Management.

Admission criteria typically require incoming students to hold a GED certificate or high school diploma.

Coursework includes foreign languages, investigation of international management areas, and knowledge of various foreign cultures. Export marketing and international trade also included coursework that may cover topic areas such as:

Graduates of the BS degree program seeking continued education may earn a master’s degree. They can seek a dual master’s degree, a combination of a Master of Global Management (M.G.M.) and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) that some schools offer. Coursework in an MBA/MGM degree program covers the complexities involved in the running of multinational marketing campaigns and the management of international business teams.
