Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree Programs in Digital Recording Arts Technology
Students enrolled in Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Digital Recording Arts Technology programs are prepared to seek occupations in the recording industry. They are taught a variety of techniques in production, mixing, editing, and sound recording. Even those without prior experience in recording arts can gain a rudimentary understanding of the field, including equipment capabilities, such as pre-amplifiers and mixing consoles. After they learn about physical recording equipment, students are taught how to manipulate the recorded sound by using numerous computer applications and programs, apart from adding digital reverb and other effects.
Students are not required to have any prior experience in digital recording methods or equipment. They are expected to hold a previous college admission and high school diploma. The college’s selective academic standards may be based on the number of interested students in the program.
