Master of Business Communication Programs

Few schools, if any, offer a specific Master of Business Communication degree program; alternatively, interested students may choose to complete similar courses in general communication master’s degree programs. Coursework in master’s degree programs in communication covers public relations, leadership principles, and ethics. Original research and a thesis must be completed by students pursuing a communication graduate degree. Students enrolled in a communication master’s program who are interested in business may be allowed to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) or other graduate degrees in business simultaneously.

Education Requirements

Admission criteria typically require incoming students to hold a bachelor’s degree. They may also have to submit results from a standardized test, such as the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).

Coursework
