Overview of Bachelor of Business Administration Degree Programs in Management Information Systems

An approximately equal number of credit hours in business and information technology (IT) are required of students enrolled in most BBA in Management Information Systems (MIS) programs. Business courses demand 28-36 hours, while IT courses account for 24-33 hours. Coursework can vary by school; however such variation is minimal as compared with that in the BS programs.

Required coursework in BBA programs in MIS is typically divided into Information Technology and Business programs. Information Technology courses cover:
