Applicants aspiring to become a financial retail sales assistant must have NASD series 7 and 63 licenses, and thorough knowledge about the organization’s products and services. They must be familiar with the standard practices, procedures, and concepts within the area. They must report to their supervisor or manager whenever they need to, and a certain degree of latitude and creativity is required.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in any specialty, and 2-4 years of experience in a certain area is an advantage.
As a registered retails sales assistant, you will be working with the different committees within the organization, primarily the sale team. You will also be working with the company’s production department as well as presenting sales presentation to the company’s heads of departments. Therefore, you must be flexible at all times.
