Gwinnett Technical College – Lawrenceville, Georgia
Gwinnett Technical College is approximately nineteen miles east of Alpharetta that takes a unique approach to technical education, providing a rare academic guarantee. Students who have graduated from this school and are not proficient in their area of interest; Gwinnett Technical College will retain the student at no additional cost. The school offers associate degrees and certificates in a number of programs, including computer science, construction, veterinarian technology, visual arts, public safety, and cosmetology. Chattahoochee Technical College – Marietta, Georgia
This college is located eighteen miles southwest of Alpharetta; Chattahoochee Technical College awards associate degrees and certificates in over one hundred technical programs. Recently, the school underwent a massive transformation, and combined two local technical colleges to become a comprehensive technical college. Georgia’s flagship technical school is Chattahoochee Technical College, it awards degrees in areas such as criminal justice technology, cosmetology, radiography, nursing, marketing management, and technical communications. The college operates in six counties and offers courses at seven campuses throughout Georgia.

Kennesaw State University – Kennesaw, Georgia
Kennesaw State University offers seventy degree programs, as well as being the third largest institution of higher education in Georgia. Georgia’s second largest education school is Kennesaw’s College of Education. CEO Magazine named Kennesaw State University’s executive Master of Business Administration program as being the best of its kind in the United States, in 2009. U.S. News and World Report ranked this school as an “Up-and-Coming Masters University in the South.” Students can pursue the following program at this school: sports management, sociology, human services, criminal justice, international affairs, and accounting.
