Northeast Wisconsin Technical College – Green Bay, Wisconsin
Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, within twenty-five miles of Appleton, offers fifty-seven associate degree programs in which students can transfer to twenty-eight schools. This college allows students to undertake a wide range of career-oriented programs that award associate degrees, technical diplomas, and certificates. For instance, the school’s health science programs provide training for in-demand careers including diagnostic medical sonographer and surgical technologist. Apprenticeships are available for construction electricity, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, among others. Global business programs provide study abroad opportunities, which supplement cultural and language education as well as business training. Northeast Wisconsin Technical College also offers several youth-oriented programs, including career exploration opportunities for middle-school students.

Fox Valley Technical College – Appleton, Wisconsin
Fox Valley Technical College is located in Appleton, Wisconsin, has been offering workforce development education since 1912. This community college provides over two hundred career-entry programs in diverse areas such as public safety, engineering technology, construction, business, and agriculture. Individuals who graduated from these programs will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science degree, technical diploma, or certificate; students may undertake apprenticeship programs in different career fields. Fox Valley Technical College graduates have a high rate of employment success; ninety percent of students find jobs within six months of graduation. The community college also provides associate degree and certificate in general education programs to students who want to pursue an undergraduate degree, and students may enter into a transfer agreement with the University of Wisconsin at Fox Valley, Oshkosh, or Green Bay.

University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Since its establishment in 1871, the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh has received several Regents Teaching Excellence awards in recognition of the teaching excellence accomplished at the school; this school has more awards than any other University of Wisconsin universities. The school offers numerous community engagement and lifelong learning program, in addition to fifty-seven undergraduate and seventeen graduate degree programs. These programs will extend educational opportunities by offering learning programs to retired people, continuing education, and assistance to non-traditional students. The most popular majors include social sciences, journalism, business, education, and health sciences. The University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh became the United States’ first Fair Trade University for its commitment to social justice, as well as being recognized as a green campus for practices such as environmentally friendly building.
