North Lake College
North Lake College is located approximately twenty miles outside of Arlington in the mid-size city of Irving, Texas, and is part of the Dallas County Community College District. North Lake College offers twenty-four associate degree programs, which will award students with associate degrees in various educational areas. Available programs of study fall into the divisions of business, construction technology, sports and math sciences, sciences and liberal arts, and performing and visual arts. University of Texas at Arlington
University of Texas at Arlington is the largest four-year university located in Arlington, Texas. The comprehensive doctoral and research university is also the third largest university in the University of Texas system. It offers seventy-eight bachelor, seventy-three master, and thirty-three doctoral degree programs. The University of Texas at Arlington is composed of eleven different academic colleges and schools, covering subject areas such as social work, engineering, science, nursing, liberal arts, architecture, public and urban affairs, education, and business. University of Texas at Arlington is also a strong research university, with research expenditures in recent years surpassing sixty-six million dollars.

Tarrant County College District
Tarrant County College District (TCCD) is the sixth largest community college in the state of Texas and the largest community college in the Arlington area. TCCD is located approximately thirteen miles away from Arlington in the mid-size city of Fort Worth. It provides Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.), Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Teaching, and Associate of Arts, as well as certificate programs. Tarrant County College District academic programs are offered in areas of vocational technologies, social sciences, languages, arts, business, health, and education. Students will have the option to transfer their credits from a majority of programs over to a four-year school upon graduation.
