Associate Degree Programs in Accounting
Students enrolled in an associate degree program in accounting will become adept at using computerized accounting systems and accounting software. Auditing, bookkeeping, or accounting clerk is required to pass the four-part examination administered by the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB) in order to obtain the Certified Bookkeeper designation. Applicants are required to agree to an ethics code, as well as having a minimum of two years of full-time experience. The AIPB offer classes where auditing, bookkeeping, and accounting clerks can update their knowledge.
