Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree: Accounting Specialist

A.A.S. Degree in Accounting Specialist

Aspiring accountants or auditors are typically expected to complete a bachelor’s degree program in accounting. Schools offer these degrees either as a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, or as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting. Although most individuals who complete an associate’s degree program seek entry level jobs in the field, some graduates may decide to continue their education by enrolling in a bachelor’s degree program. Those who want to study beyond a bachelor’s degree can opt for a master’s or doctoral degree program in accounting.
