Degree Overview: Associate of Science (A.S.) Degree for Microcomputer Support Specialists

The role of a microcomputer support specialist is to provide technical help to customers and users that rely on microcomputer-supported networks, systems, and computer software. An Associate of Science (A.S.) degree program will prepare those interested with the training needed for entry-level work as a microcomputer support specialist.

A.S. Programs for Microcomputer Support Specialists

Students enrolled in an Associate of Science in Microcomputer Support Specialist Degree Program are trained in the installation of software and hardware, installation of peripheral devices, troubleshooting, diagnostics and problem solving. Technical skills apart, communication skills in verbal and written communication are imparted to students.
