Those interested in this degree may want to obtain an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in office administration with a concentration in legal office administration. Other options available are Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) degrees.

A.S.B. Programs in Office Administration with a Concentration in Legal Office Administration

Students enrolled in an office administration program with a specialization in legal office studies are offered the opportunity to become adept in general office skills and skills relevant to the legal office. The technical aspects of maintaining an office in smooth running condition may be covered in the program, in addition to training students in customer service and professional ethics.

The Accredited Legal Secretary designation is offered by the NALS, while the Certified Legal Secretary Specialist designation is offered by Legal Secretaries International.
