Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree Programs in Media Arts

The artistic abilities and interests of students enrolled in B.A. in Media Arts programs are commonly enhanced while they are introduced to the professional and business aspects of the field. Over the 2012 – 2022 decade, job growth rate of 7% have been predicted for graphic designers. Multimedia artists and animators are expected to see a 6% increase over the same period (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). In 2012, graphic designers brought in an annual average wage of $44,150, while multimedia artists banked $61,370 on average per annum.

Continuing Education Choices

Graduates of the bachelor’s degree program may opt for continuing education to enhance their knowledge of the field and advance their career prospects by earning a master’s degree or a doctorate in media art.
