Bachelor’s Degree Programs in Kinesiology
Some students enrolled in a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) program in Kinesiology may treat it as a terminal degree, while others may perceive it as a point from which they may embark on a career in a related allied health field.
Kinesiology majors examine the science behind physiology. Students take many laboratory classes to receive instruction on conditioning and general strength training strategies. There is also a more specific focus on the development of fine and gross motor skills. Schools often offer specializations in athletic training, exercise science, and physical education. Education Requirements

The optimistic prediction for fitness trainers is credited to an expected increase in interest in fitness among individuals and businesses alike. In May 2012, fitness trainers brought in an average annual wage of $31,720, while high school physical education teachers banked $55,050 on average during that year (BLS).
