Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) Programs in Marketing Management

Students enrolled in a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing Management program learn about sale promotion, management, and product development. Students can expect to become adept at running the marketing branch of a corporation or business by completing coursework that incorporates both practice and theory.

Coursework requires students to conduct and analyze extensive market research before they put together marketing campaigns. In many M.B.A. programs in marketing and marketing management, the curriculum is devised strongly to emphasize emerging media platforms, Internet technologies, and social networking that are increasingly being used by corporations to market services and products.

Admission criteria typically require incoming students to hold a bachelor’s degree in a related area, such as finance, accounting, marketing, or business. Students usually complete an M.B.A. program in 2 years. After they complete the program, they may choose to enroll in a doctorate program in order to pursue careers in academia or research.
