An associate degree program in Christian ministry is appropriate for an individual who is interested in doing ministry work in related setting such as a church. Completion of the program will give students a basic perception of the meaning of leading a Christian life and providing others with Christian-centered services.

Christian Ministry Associate Degree Program

An Associate of Science (A.S.) in Christian Ministries, Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Christian Ministries, and Associate of Arts in Ministry are among the various types of associate degree programs in Christian ministry that are offered at colleges and universities. Additionally, specializations are offered by some programs in a number of ministry specific areas such as music ministries, Christian educational ministries and church ministries. Completing such a program will give students basic knowledge of Christianity. A number of Christian values and Biblical morals can also be examined by students where individuals can be assisted in accomplishing greater success on the ministry, spiritual and personal levels.

Education Requirements

A student is typically required to have earned a general educational development (GED) certificate or high school diploma before submitting their application to an associate degree program in Christian ministry. Students should consider the Christian ministry master degree program as well, since other religious leaders and several clergy members are required to possess a graduate degree.
