These colleges and universities offer a wide variety of learning opportunities, such as social work, architecture, business administration, and web design, at multiple levels of learning.
College of DuPage
The College of DuPage is the largest community college near Addison that operates different campuses around the greater Chicago area, including a satellite location in Addison, Illinois. At the satellite campus in Addison, there are forty-five pre-university transfer programs, fifty-nine career and vocational degrees, and ninety certificate programs. Students who intent to transfer-out to a four-year university from the associate degree program, the College of DuPage has articulation agreements in place with several universities in the state of Illinois, including Benedictine University, Loyola University-Chicago, Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and Roosevelt University.

DeVry University – Illinois (Chicago)
DeVry University (Chicago campus) is the third-largest university near Addison. This is a private for-profit university with colleges of health science, technology and media arts, science and liberal arts, information science and engineering, and business and management. One of ninety DeVry campuses across the nation, the Chicago location offers twelve associate and undergraduate degree programs, including business administration, health information technology, biomedical and computer engineering technology, and web design. Courses can be taken by students through online, traditional classroom format, or a combination of both.

University of Illinois at Chicago
The University of Illinois at Chicago is the largest university that is in close proximity to Addison, Illinois and located eighteen miles away in the heart of the city. This university has the largest medical school in the United States and home to fifteen schools and colleges. University of Illinois at Chicago offers a range of bachelor and master degrees in departments ranging from social work, public health, dentistry, pharmacy, architecture, and applied health. The university’s graduate business administration program is highly regarded.
