Program Accreditation and Opportunities
Prospective aircraft engineers can pursue either a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aeronautical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aerospace Engineering, ensuring that the program has been accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. Thereby they can obtain entry-level employment in engineering.
However, the more comprehensive aerospace degree will be suitable for those that wish to work with astronautical concepts or gain knowledge about them. A B.S. in Aeronautics will serve the purpose of those whose interest is limited to aircraft that remain within the atmosphere.
School Infrastructure
