Individuals who are interested in an assisting mechanical engineer career can look into an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree program in mechanical engineering technology.

Coursework in the mechanical engineering technology program combines theoretical and practice-based courses that provide enrolled students with hands-on training in design and drafting and demonstrate to participants the level of integration of the latest technologies into mechanical engineering. Students become adept at assisting mechanical engineers through the collection and analysis of data, performance of experiments and troubleshooting of technical problems by applying the lessons learned in fluid mechanics, thermal mechanics, statics and dynamics.
