Top Automotive Engineering and Design Programs

Kettering University – Flint, Michigan

This University came into existence in 1919 to fill a need spurred by the growth of the auto industry. Until 1982, the university was owned by General Motors Corporation, and unsurprisingly, much of its history is linked with that of the automotive giant. During the last 11 years, the U.S. News & World Report has consistently ranked Kettering at the top of its list of best colleges. Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs are offered at Kettering University in science, business and engineering. A Master of Science in Engineering-Automotive Systems and a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive Engineering Design can be pursued by interested students, within Kettering’s Mechanical Engineering Department. Students who are enrolled in the automotive programs will work closely with the Society of Automotive Engineers.
