Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Business Degree

Individuals who are eager to advance or start their careers in the business field should consider earning an Associate of Arts in Business degree. Those who have earned their A.A. in Business degree may obtain jobs as cost estimators, community service managers, or sales managers.

A.A. in Business Degree

Students will gain basic foundational knowledge in the business field through the associate degree program in business. Students can participate in coursework that covers areas of social science, practical business information, and core content areas, such as arts, sciences, and humanities. An associate degree program can take approximately two years to complete, if students are enrolled full-time.

Education Requirements

Students who want to enroll in a business associate degree program should submit their general educational development (GED) scores or high school transcripts. Depending on the program, some will require students to have prior full-time work experience in the business field.

During the same year, administrative service managers earned an average annual salary of $77,890, as reported by the BLS. Individuals who hold an Associate of Arts in Business degree can choose to work in positions such as:

The first academic step in the business field is the associate degree program.
