Associate degree program in computer information systems with a focus on software will offer studies in program documentation and design. Students who have earned their Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree will be able to find jobs with the information technology industry.

A.A.S. in Computer Information Systems: Software Degree Program

Students enrolled in computer information systems programs with concentrations in software may be trained in software, database and network development. Coursework in such programs typically focuses on technical principles and basic business courses, such as operation of personal computers and programming. Associate degree programs usually provide studies in data analysis, data processing, computer hardware, application software and information gathering.
