A.A.S. in Computer Network Administration Degree Program

Students enrolled in an A.A.S. in computer network administration degree program will be able to obtain entry-level jobs in computer networking, information technology (IT), and computer administration fields. Knowledge about routing and networking techniques and PC applications is imparted to students who also develop customer service skills. They also become proficient in troubleshooting and repairing PCs. Network administration associate degree program graduates will become adept at setting up, installing and analyzing computer hardware and network systems. Admission criteria typically require applicants to hold a general educational development (GED) certificate or a high school diploma.

Program Coursework

Along with completing coursework, students will be able to complete on-the-job training as help desk technicians or participate in cooperative education experiences. Most of the courses prepare students for certification examinations. Program course topics may include the following:
