Master’s Programs in Publishing and Editing
Students enrolled in a Master of Science (M.S.) in Publishing program are given an introduction to new media forums as well as the traditional publishing industry. Education Requirements
Admission criteria typically require students to have strong verbal and written communication skills along with two years of prior work experience in publishing or a related field. Incoming students are also required to submit a personal statement, letters of recommendation and undergraduate transcripts. The GRE or GMAT is a requirement for those who have completed their undergraduate degree during the last two years. Submission of a non-fiction manuscript and a current resume is also a requirement in some schools.
