Computer animation is a combination of digital techniques with fine arts to create animations for videos, the Internet, games, and films. Those interested in a career in the digital media business should look into Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree programs in Computer Animation.

Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) Degree Programs in Computer Animation

Students enrolled in many B.F.A. programs in Computer Animation are imparted a combination of experience in computer animation theory and history with skills in visual effects, compositing, and framing. Students may enjoy opportunities for the application of fine arts skills, such as sculpting, painting, and drawing, and aesthetics; these include the creation of a portfolio through the use of digital design techniques.
