Program Overview: Associates Degree in Business Communications

Majors Overview June 16, 2013

While there aren’t any colleges or universities that offer the associate degree program in business communications, schools do offer some programs at the associate degree level, which concentrate on business, and also offer communication courses. Students who usually pursue these degree programs will earn an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Business Administration.

A.S. in Business Administration Program

A two-year business administration associate degree program is designed for students who are interested in learning how to oversee daily operations of business organizations. Most courses included in such programs cover practical management strategies, as well as business principles. Students will learn the basics of computer information systems, modern business practices, economics, accounting, and business communication.

Business administration associate degree program graduates will have the skills and education needed to analyze and read financial data, perform general marketing tasks, oversee training and hiring procedures, manage employee members, apply financial information toward organizational strategy, and more.
