Degree Overview: Associate in Computer Programming – Java Option
Majors Overview September 9, 2013Since the Java programming language is covered in the curricula of the majority of associate’s degree majors in computer science or computer programming, students do not typically need to seek it out as a separate option. Associate degree program graduates will be trained for careers in the web programming and information technology (IT) sectors.
Associate Degree Program in Computer Programming
Students who are enrolled in computer programming associate degree program will be taught the principles of fundamental operating platforms, including C++ and Java. They also study key computing areas, including data security and management. Students are imparted various professional skills such as the skills required to navigate a treasury of foundational code, carrying out debugging operations and writing code through the use of computer-assisted software engineering (CASE) technology.
