Typically, associate degree program graduates will be prepared for entry-level employment in specialized computer customer support, systems administration, website design, and database management.
A.A.S. in Computer Information Systems Degree Program
Students enrolled in an associate degree program in computer information systems can expect to become adept at programming languages, database management, system design and analysis, and computer architecture, in addition to developing skills in network security and administration. Web development techniques that involve the use of XML, HTML and Java are also taught in these degree programs.
