Degree Overview: Associate of Science in Business Administration

Associate degree programs in business administration concentrate on teaching students how to control, organize, and plan aspects of business and leadership. Generally, Associate of Science (A.S.) in Business Administration degree programs covers the initial two years of requirements needed to transfer to a four-year bachelor degree program.

A.S. in Business Administration

Students enrolled in an Associate of Science in Business Administration program are provided with coursework that covers general educational courses and business foundations. The associate degree programs will provide students with the option of pursuing a specialty in business by developing a focus. Students gain skills in mathematics, communication, and leadership. Typically, degree programs train students in marketing, accounting, and technology.
