Overview of Associate Degree Program in Baking and Pastry Arts

Students who are enrolled in an associate degree program in baking and pastry arts may earn an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree and learn techniques in sugar art, pastry design, cake decorating, and bread making. Typically, graduates are qualified for entry-level positions at food production companies, hotels, restaurants, and bakeries upon completion of an associate degree program.

A.A.S. Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts

By enrolling in an associate degree program in baking and pastry arts, prospective culinary professionals can garner basic knowledge in areas such as hospitality, food presentation, food safety and pastry preparation.
