Majors Overview March 25, 2014Students will be taught how to act in supervisory roles and implement business strategies within companies with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree program in Business Administration. Students will be able to choose from many specializations, including marketing, business law, general business, or finance.
B.S. Programs in Business Administration
Students enrolled in a Business Administration degree program are taught about business analysis, finance and accounting. They can hone skills in information technology, quantitative reasoning, effective communication, marketing, and management. The program also helps explore business processes and practices and teaches the ways economics can affect international and local marketplaces. Students enrolled in some schools are required to choose a specialization within the major, such as Financial Services, Business Law, Marketing, Finance, Management or Accounting.
Admission criteria in these degree programs typically require incoming students to hold a GED certificate or high school diploma.
