This two-year college has 34,065 student enrollments; East Los Angeles College (ELAC) is the largest school in the Los Angeles community college system. Adult College Education Program
The Adult College Education Program is a five-semester, sixty units transfer program that is created to serve full-time working adults. It meets the lower division and general education requirements for teaching, liberal arts, and business majors at several Los Angeles area schools, along with the requirements for an Associate of Arts degree. Both evening and weekend classes are offered to students who have the options to take one or two courses during an eight week session, and each semester is comprised of two sessions.
