Cornell University in Ithaca, NY

The U.S. News & World Report ranked the Master of Management in Hospitality (M.M.H.) program at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration number one on its 2014 list of top graduate accounting schools in the United States. The school, founded in 1922, is among the oldest hotel schools in the country. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business has accredited the MMH program offered at the school. The U.S. News & World Report ranked the business school 18th on its list compiled in 2010.

Coursework in the MMH program covers classes in communications, operations, human resources, and strategy. The entire program may be completed by students at the New York campus or a study-abroad option lasting six months in Singapore at the Cornell-Nanyang campus. Concentrations in operations, marketing, and real estate are also available, in addition to customized coursework. The Master of Science (M.S.) in Hotel Administration is also offered, aimed at individuals who aspire for college-level teaching careers.

New York University in New York, NY

The U.S. News & World Report ranked NYU’s business programs among the best in the United States on its list compiled in 2014. The heart of New York City, the United States’ hub of tourism and hospitality provides the location of the New York University (NYU) School of Continuing and Professional Studies. The practical education of the MS in Hospitality Industry Studies is through New York’s resorts and luxury hotels. Students enrolled in the program are trained to become hotel industry leaders through coursework in law, strategic planning, and finance.
