Students enrolled in an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Web Design degree program are trained to be able to seek entry-level jobs in the digital arts field. They can seek employment in various settings, including corporate marketing departments, production studios and publishing houses.

Admission criteria typically require applicants to hold a general educational development (GED) certificate or a high school diploma and submit satisfactory ACT or SAT exam scores. Students who have not taken the ACT or SAT examinations or have low scores on certain sections; they will be required to take the placement test.
