Associate degree program in marketing teach students how to attract and retain customers by distributing and promoting services, ideas, and products. Marketing degree program may lead to careers in sales, customer service, public relations, and advertising.

Associate Degree Program in Marketing

Coursework usually covers marketing principles and business disciplines, along with studies in liberal arts. Students receive background information in marketing roles related to various industries, apart from training in sales techniques and consumer behavior. They also gain familiarity with concepts related to research, e-commerce, and advertising and promotion. Students may be required in some programs to participate in capstone projects and internship programs. Admission criteria generally require applicants to hold a general educational development (GED) certificate or a high school diploma and submit ACT or SAT test scores.
