A job growth rate of 14% has been predicted for marketing managers over the 2010-2020 decade, with sales managers predicted to enjoy a 12% job growth during the same period. In 2012, marketing managers and sales managers took home average annual wages of $119,480 and $105,260, respectively.

Continuing Education Choices

Sales and marketing managers would benefit from earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in sales or marketing. While, armed with a bachelor’s degree, a graduate may seek entry-level careers, earning an MBA would be most suitable for professionals who seek career advancement opportunities.
