This subject is presented by the Department of Mathematics, which educates students in theory and practices, so they are able to solve problems, apply math principles in everyday life, and also use this major field of interest to improve society as a whole. The middle school UMD program on mathematics education teaches math and related sciences, while the secondary course involves an internship requirement, with the possibility of a double degree.
