Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree in Business Management

Upon completion of this program students will earn an Associate of Applied Science degree. In a business management degree program, students will explore office procedures, human resources, accounting, and other subjects that will give them a concrete knowledge of how to manage a business.
A.A.S. Degree in Business Management
Students enrolled in an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Business Management program learn about providing organizational and analytical services such as the development of business plans, analysis of marketing needs, planning and implementation for improvements. Business and technical concepts such as employee management and computer applications are investigated by students who will be provided with skills needed to effectively handle business tasks and manage employees.
Education Requirements
Applicants are typically required by schools to hold a general educational development (GED) certificate or a high school diploma. In the absence of a high school diploma, prospective students may be allowed to enroll, if they satisfy some other criteria. In addition, applicants who want to enroll in business programs are required to pass entrance examinations that test communications, reading, and math.

Students may be allowed to transfer some of the credits earned in an associate degree program to a bachelor or master degree program.
