Associate of Business Science (A.B.S.) in Marketing Degree

Students may earn an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in marketing degree instead of an Associate of Business Science degree since most colleges and universities do not offer this type of degree in marketing. Students will learn the basics of advertising and marketing business strategies, they may become qualified for entry-level employment. Typically, degree programs teach individuals different related skills, such as advertising, management, and accounting.

A.A.S. in Marketing Degree

Individual who seek a career in marketing, as well as those who are already in the field, would benefit by enrolling in an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program in Marketing. Programs with majoring options such as entrepreneurship and administration are offered by some schools. Coursework in such programs offers opportunities to students in the form of research projects and construction of marketing plans where their classroom learning can be applied in work-based applications. Some associate’s degree programs may allow students to transfer credits to a four-year bachelor’s degree program; alternatively, graduates can enter the workforce immediately after they have completed the program. Admission criteria typically require applicants to hold a general educational development (GED) certificate or a high school diploma.

Students will be prepared to complete their certificate through the bachelor degree program.
