Master of Science (M.S.) Degree Programs in International Marketing

Students enrolled in Master of Science (M.S.) degree programs in International Marketing are taught about the use of marketing and management principles across cultures and countries. Studying abroad is a requirement for the majority of international marketing majors on the graduate level, and as much as a semester may be spent on international study tours by many. They are taught about the marketing principles best applicable to respective countries and the way numerous marketing principles fare in different settings. Education Requirements

Admission criteria typically require incoming students to the International Marketing master’s degree program to have completed a bachelor’s degree program in a subject such as accounting, finance, business, or marketing. They must also be able to read and speak in at least one foreign language. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is also required to be completed by students seeking admission to many schools.

The average yearly wage for marketing managers was about $115,750 in 2012. International marketing managers are usually required to travel quite a bit but will be employed at U.S. firms with an international presence.
